Spring is finally here, and with the pleasant weather comes a chance to make your home feel warm and inviting too. That doesn’t mean you need to put flowers all over your home to give it a fresh new look, though. You can stay up-to-date, while still maintaining a luxuriously modern or traditional feel throughout your space. With that in mind, take a look at some of the most popular looks this spring:
Classic Country with Transitional Flair
One of the most popular design trends is actually two design trends combined. One that we are loving right now is Classic Country paired with Transitional, which brings two really great design styles together into your home to achieve something truly wonderful. The design pieces below are a great example of this, showing you how you can mix both modern and country style into your kitchen. You may just like it so much you continue the look throughout your entire home!
A light blue cabinet and farm sink is considered to be more traditional and country in feel, so the combination look can be achieved by pairing them with modern accents like a glass back splash and Cambria Quartz countertop. The result is a gorgeous blend of both genres.
Rustic Chic Bathroom
A bathroom doesn’t have to be totally white to look chic. Dark can look modern as well as chic, to create what we call rustic/ chic. In this design, we paired Cambria Quartz counter tops with a dark wood cabinet and antique round gold mirror and gold cupped hardware. All of these work together to give any bathroom a rustic chic look that will make getting ready for work in the morning or relaxing in the tub at night something really special.
Sitting by the Fire
This isn’t your grandmother’s fireplace! These futuristic-looking fireplaces are incredibly popular right now. When you think of the Southwest Florida lifestyle, you may not think of a fireplace, but this look is something that fits right in with any home decor. A linear fireplace with horizontal accent tile placed around it adds both interest and warmth to any living room. Some Southwest Florida homeowners are even placing one in the master bedroom for a cozy feeling they can enjoy late into the night. By adding accents like large, over-sized pillows and an area rug, you can really pull the whole design together to create a cozy living space in whichever room you please.
